The stories are uninspired. The new redone characters have become boring expositions more concern in delivering mechanical preachy lectures.Gone are the humor, sarcasm and organic charm of the heroes and villains. Alright, let me begin by saying that I grew up on the original Powerpuff Girls. It was my favorite show, but when it came to a close it felt pretty natural. Fast forward to 2015 and I catch wind of a reboot that was following in a similar veinthe predecessor. How awesome for one of my favorites to be coming back to a new generation to spread more love of these characters and setting! I was expecting some changes the second I heard that Craig McKraken wouldn't be returning with the show. But what has been aired so far feels like watered down toxic sludge. The humor is off, it's so mean spirited and pop culture riddled I honestly have no clue if the writers have a single unique comedy chop in them. The characters are dreadful, half of them look like lost actors that walked onto the wrong stage and are too embarrassed to leave, they're just absolutely out of place in Townsville. I can't recommend leaving this show on even for an infant.
